It’s been a busy offseason for the Grambling State University women’s bowling program with the addition of head coach Allamont Bates and now the Lady Tigers are on the verge of opening the 2022-2023 season.
Grambling State opens the season this weekend at the Rattler Invitational in Pensacola, Fla.
Grambling State will compete in eight tournaments this season, beginning with the season opener this weekend (Oct. 7-9) at the Rattler Invitational in Pensacola, Fla. The Lady Tigers have two more tournaments prior to the end of the 2022 year as GSU will bowl at the Sonic Boom Invitational (Nov. 11-13) in Fannin, Miss. and at the ISTAP Hornet Classic a week later (Nov. 18-20) in Montgomery, Ala.
The Lady Tigers will take to the lanes just once in January (Jan. 13-15) at the first of two Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Round-Ups in D’Iberville, Miss. GSU will conclude SWAC play Feb. 3-5 with the second round-up.
Grambling State will compete in the Lady Techsters Classic (Feb. 10-12) in Dallas, Texas and the Mid-Winter Invitational (Feb. 17-19), hosted by Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Ark.
The Lady Tigers conclude the regular season at the TNBA/HBCU Invitational (March 3-5) in Douglasville, Ga.
